We’re fed-up Kentuckians just like you and we have decided we can no longer sit idly by.

We’re tired of seeing our communities ignored, our values misrepresented, and our government hijacked by political games that put power over people. That’s why we started Democracy Matters Kentucky, to elect Democratic leaders who listen, show up, and fight for everyday people.

We’re not a think tank or a national PAC. We’re local, scrappy, and focused on flipping seats in the Kentucky General Assembly by doing what works: listening, investing in strong candidates, and making our voices heard across the Commonwealth.

First they came for the Communists, and I did not speak out - because I was not a Communist.

Then they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out - because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out - because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out - because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak out for me.
